damn hearing the mouri solve the case by himself more sastifying than conan... wish i will see more episode like this.

Mammon-kun • 2 years ago

mouri did solve this but did he solve this by himself? conan was the one that convinced mouri that ther was more to this case right? (conan also said that he will take a bath after irritating mouri is so satisfying😊) and conan was also the one who gave mouri the evidence right?(picture of the man without sunglasses)

i mean ya, but its always better when mouri is not sleeping

Good case. I love every episode in where Kogoro is at least somewhat competent.
Tragic story and one can definitely empathize with Megumi. She didn't have to break that easily however, the evidence Kogoro had was simply not strong enough, though I guess it's hard on many people to keep pretending to be innocent, normal people don't like to lie, especially not to people they like.

the problem with this one is... there is only one singular piece of physical evidence that would tie the wife to the bomb and murder swap plot. the wire-tap. sure, there's tape around the husband's office phone wall-jack. but! without the wire-tap device AND the tape(s) from it... all the wife has to do is shrug and go... just like she did talking with Kogoro, Conan, and Ran... 'i never actually used it. yes i installed it. but i changed my mind and took it out' ... weeks or months ago... or some general time period... 'and i threw it all away.' if there is ZERO fact that she KNEW the bomb plot was going on, she would have NO motive to look out the window at her dead parents' house and KNOW FOR A FACT that the guy was putting a bomb in her car. the bomber with or without sunglasses was ENTIRELY circumstantial. there is NOT A SHRED of physical or eyewitness evidence to prove or disprove she ever saw the bomber with or without his sunglasses.

also, she's a law-school graduate. why was she working at an investment firm? after college? that scene where she was working, she looked like the classic 'Japanese office girl' you see from time to time. NOT like Kogoro's wife... who IS a lawyer. if the wife got her law degree... maybe just maybe she was in-house legal counsel for that investment firm? met her boyfriend, got engaged, and suddenly she becomes a HOUSEWIFE?!? that makes no sense.

Kogoro himself tells her 'she knows the law. she graduated law school and is the daughter of a lawyer.' she'd obviously do a much better job getting the wire-tap and then getting rid of it. do you know how BIG Akihabara is? before becoming an otaku mecca it was known as 'Electric City'... for all the electronics stores that used to be there. how MANY stores did Kogoro go to in one day and MAGICALLY find the one the wife went to and bought the wire-tap? and the clerk REMEMBERS her? MONTHS LATER!? in such vivid detail because she asked him to explain the wire-tap step by step?

this one is specious at best, irrationally impossible in the worst interpretation.

what would you do if your the girl who know theres a bomb under the car? and you know your sister and partner was cheating on you?

dark flame master • 2 years ago

i think i would do the same cus hes been my partner for years then he cheat to my sister

plutoxoxo • 6 months ago

i mean.... everyone and they baby mommas was plotting against her??? her own loving husband, a random a*s guy & her own SISTER.
i'm sorry but she had every right to gag them all like she did, period. even god said: "not on my watch. y'all gon get served justice and get trapped in your own traps" she sent both of those guys to jail, they ain't got not a single penny from insurance, saved her life, and (even tho it was a bit harsh) erased her cheating sister that stole 2 BOYFRIENDS from megumi before & hiromi was okay with megumi getting killed just to own a boutique... like???????
but kogoro had to ruin it for the poor megumi... the evidence he had was pretty weak she could've just said he removed his glasses once at the store or something, like they couldn't even prove her guilty with anything else but yeah she gave in i guess.

The person who did the murder was obvious from the start

Filler

Conan's sneaking through someone's house without permission again :/

Conan having this serious conversation with Kogoro with this serious looking face and then immediately just acting all cheery like :D :D was so funny to me!??

That evidence is way too flimsy. Like she could've just said he took off his sunglasses for a second in the store to clean them or something.

This episode was way too good for a filler. Like Kogoro going off and actually investigating and solving the case on his own (well without having to be tranquilized) and actually taking things seriously and listening to Conan. It's giving me mega Kogoro's class reunion vibes. I just really like when episodes show that like he can actually be a pretty decent detective when he actually tries.
It feels like this should be canon with the Kogoro backstory being introduced and Takagi and Sato making a fun little guest appearance in the last episode (except for the actual mystery itself being pretty easy to figure out and the evidence... Well it is a filler so that kinda to be expected.)

I dont know if you can tell but Mouri can actually be a great detective if he really wants to. He's exceptional in solving cases that involves people he actually know himself. Such as this case as well as the previous one (not a case per se) but during the time when Ran set up both his parents to stay on a beach resort, Mouri's detective skills can be noticed as he pointed out that he knows her wife decided to remove her ring among other things. Mouri is really good in picking up details on situations that involved people that are dear to him.

if the people were close to kogoro, it seems like he was unleashing his skills to solve the crimes
